This year has been a special year for us as we established our brand as the official photographer for the Whittlesea United Soccer Club, and it was fantastic to be covering their end of season party at Presentation Night. It was a very special night to celebrate their success in Season 2017 and lots of trophies were given away, followed by a grand 3 course meal...the party then rolled on with lots of music and dancing.
Rosa’s 50th Birthday Party
As we grow a year older, the realization dawns on us even more that we are so lucky to have made it this far…and are grateful for life’s many blessings. And then when you turn 50, like Rosa just did a few weeks ago, it is time to party and celebrate with your dear ones. As a photographer, it was an absolute joy to see so many happy faces, even though I was looking through the viewfinder of my camera.
Enrico's 1st Holy Communion Party
For many Christian families, the 1st Holy Communion is a very special day for their child, and something they like to celebrate with their close family and friends. Anthony and Caterina did just that by throwing a party for their son Enrico's 1st Holy communion. And it was my pleasure to be asked to take photos that would capture these wonderful moments. A Morning With The Madhwanis
I wanted to capture the morning light just as the sun was starting to come up. So I asked Vijay and Karishma to bear the cold and be at our place by 7am on that chill morning in May. They arrived on time and we had a quick South Indian breakfast at Kitchen Anugraha with chef Anu in attendance. And then we headed out to Plenty Gorge that is very close to our house. The sun’s rays were just starting to hit the tall grass, and it was time for me to get to work. Here is a small selection of the images taken at this photo-shoot. Lion Movie Premiere…with Garth & Patti Davis
When my good friend Patti Davis invited me to take photos at her son Garth Davis’s movie premiere of LION – which was globally acclaimed and nominated for the Golden Globe Awards in various categories, I knew this is going to be a very special night for Madan Daniel Photography. This was a movie premiere hosted by Patti for her family and close friends to come and share the success of her son, Garth’s amazing journey. It was wonderful to meet Garth and hear him share some of his experiences when making LION. Even though Garth Davis made his feature film debut with “Lion,” he can already be considered at the top of his movie-making game. And what a wonderful movie he has made!!! Amazingly talented as a director, and humble to the core, he had lots of time for everyone who came up to ask him about the movie and take photos with him. Caterina's 40th Birthday Party
When Anthony and Caterina decided to throw a big party to celebrate the milestone occasion of Caterina's 40th with all their friends and family, and gave me the brief for the job to 'just have fun' and capture those moments of happiness with their dearest ones around them...I did just that. It was such a fun night...with awesome food, fantastic party music that got everyone moving on the dance floor...and of course free flowing drinks like there was no tomorrow. Anthony and Caterina and all their staff at Take A Bite were amazing hosts....not to mention their friends and family who made this party so special. It was my absolute pleasure to be given this project - to be honest, it never felt like work because I was having so much fun!!! And that is what we try and do at Madan Daniel Photography...tell a story through the images we take at your special day in your life...something you can look back later and say "Wow, what a day it was".
